Every year the company where hubby work give tickets to their employee each year to spend quality time with their family and friends. Last year hubby and I with some friends went there and we had fun. This year hubby, me and Maddie are planning of going there maybe late in the afternoon when it's not so hot. Last year when we went there I was still pregnant with our little Maddie and I remember it's really really hot and I got sunburn in my feet that it tool a long time to dissapear. We don't Maddie to have sunburn and so that is why we thought to go there in the evening. I hope it's not going to rain. Anyway, one of my friend and her hubby and baby is also going. She wasn't able to go with us last year because of her baby. I hope we really can go because hubby has a pickle mind. Keep changing plan.

After going to the bank to get some cashier's check because hubby run out of check, we went to Southwest Mall. We just stroll around the mall. Going in and out of the some shop. Then hubby wanted to go to Sears. It's his favorite place in this mall. He always like to look on specials with regards to tools and so we went there. Me and Maddie also like the baby's section of Sears. I was happy because I saw a lot of special on Maddie's clothes. It was 70% off from the tag. I grab some and also for my niece Caroline. When I went to pay, it was more than $30 but the cashier offer me a credit card. So, I signed up for one and thanks goodness I got everything for almost free. I was so happy. The cashier said that I don't have to activate the card if I don't want to. Well, that's good deal in there.
Late in the afternoon we decided to go to Flatiron mall. It's a little bit far from our place and it's already almost 6:00pm but we still went there. When we got there the road to the mall was a little bit confusing but thanks goodness we reached to our destination. We went in through Dillards entrance. Then went into the mall. Then we saw a photo shop for Maddie. We inquired but it's quite expensive to have your photo taken in there. So, we decided that we'll just do it ourselves. We just need to buy some nice background. That's all we needed. Then, I saw that Disney had a sale and so I bought sunglasses and sandals for my niece. Then, we had a snack of almond crunch pretzel which was so tempting to eat. It's oily and for sure fatty but it was good. Anyway, that was our little window shopping.
Maddie and I woke up late today. Later in the afternoon as I was cleaning the refrigerator I saw that I have a lot of carrot that might spoiled if I don't cook them. So, I decided to bake a carrot cake. It's the first time I bake carrot cake from scratch but it came out really good. I used ground stone flour and add flax seed in it so that hubby will eat it. Also the cinammon really adds the smell of it. For sure, hubby liked it. That's the first carrot cake I baked and thanks it came out good.
